Staff, attendance and payroll

From the days worked to the payslip.

Attendance on a paper register, leave on a chat group and salaries worked out by hand at month end. Glycoz puts your team in the same place as your patients — so the diary knows who is away, and every payslip can be read back to the days behind it.

What it does

Your team, on the same account as your patients.

Everyone signs in as themselves
Each person is invited by email and sets their own password. Access is view or edit, module by module, starting from a template — receptionist, nurse, practice manager, accountant — and nobody can widen their own. Two-factor sign-in is there for anyone.
Check-in on their own phone
Staff check in and out from Glycoz For Doctors on an Android phone, or from the panel in a browser. The time comes from Glycoz, never from the phone, so a wrong clock cannot record a wrong morning. No machine to buy.
A photo and the place, if you want them
Switch the practice's rule on and a photo and the location are taken at every check-in and check-out; leave it off and both are optional. The location is one reading at the tap — never in the background, and never a reason to refuse somebody's day.
Rosters and shifts
Shifts, holidays and each person's usual week, set once; a day that differs is an exception, not a new week. Somebody who works at more than one branch is rostered at the branch they work at that day.
Leave, with your approvers
Leave types and balances, and requests to whoever you name: one person, any of several, or several in turn. A reason on every refusal. Approved leave closes that person's appointment diary, and appointments already made are shown to the approver first — never cancelled by it.
Corrections, not deletions
A forgotten check-out is put right with a reason, approved by whoever you name. A wrong entry is struck out, not deleted. A day nobody marked reads as not marked — not absent, because absent is the one that costs a day's pay.
Payroll from the days worked
A month runs once every day in it is settled. Preparing and approving are separate steps, and a wrong month is reversed and run again. Payslips are numbered by the practice and show the days behind them.
Doctors on the books too
Any doctor, the owner included, can check in, take leave and be paid in the same run, without a second account. A doctor cannot change their own salary.

Your staff will ask

What happens to their photos and their pay.

  • Nobody at Glycoz sees a check-in photo, a location or a salary. They are your practice's records about your own staff.
  • Photos are deleted after 45 days — long enough to settle the month. The check-in's time and place stay, because that is the attendance record.
  • Everybody opens their own payslips, and the email saying one is ready never says the amount.

Plainly

What it does not do.

  • Move money. It works out what is owed and produces the payslip for you to confirm and pay.
  • Calculate statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, professional tax or TDS. It records the deductions you make.
  • Check in from a narrow browser window. Staff on a phone use the Android app.

For a clinic, a nursing home or a hospital. It is the same HR for one clinic of five people and for a hospital with several branches. It runs beside the appointment book, the ward and the stock, on the hospital side or without it.

Questions

Staff attendance and payroll, asked plainly

Can clinic staff mark attendance from their own phone?
Yes. They check in and out from Glycoz For Doctors, the Android app for doctors and staff, or from the panel in a browser. The time comes from Glycoz, not from the phone.
Do we need a biometric machine?
No machine is needed. If you switch on the practice's rule, a photo and the location are taken at every check-in and check-out on the phone. Photos are deleted after 45 days.
What if somebody forgets to check out?
They ask for a correction with a reason, and whoever you name approves it. Nothing is deleted: a wrong entry is struck out and keeps who did it and why.
Does it calculate PF, ESI or TDS?
No. It works out what is owed from the days worked, records the deductions you make, and produces a numbered payslip for you to confirm. It does not move money.
Can doctors be on the payroll as well?
Yes. Any doctor, the owner included, can check in, take leave and be paid in the same pay run, without a second account — and nobody can change their own salary.
Does it work across branches?
Yes. Each person has a home branch and the branches they may work at, the roster says which, day by day, and HR can be limited to one branch's team. Payroll is always the whole practice.
How much does it cost?
HR and payroll are add-ons to the Clinic plan and above, priced per employee, and part of the Team and Complete Clinic packages. The pricing page has the figures.
